Neil Young was born on November 12, 1945. The Canadian singer/songwriter is widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of his time.
Neil Young began performing in 1960 as a solo artist in Canada before moving to the US in 1966. He co-founded the band Buffalo Springfiend along with Stephen Stills and Richard Furay. He later joined Crosby Stills and Nash as a fourth member in 1969.
Crazy Horse has been mostly non-existent since touring with Young in support of Greendale in the winter of 2004. Prior to announcing their 2012 North American tour they had done a few performances. The Neil Young & Crazy Horse 2012 North American tour promises to be a mix of old and new with both sides very happy to be reunited.
