Whether he’s molding the musical landscape of heartland rock, or performing in front of a sold-out crowd, Bob Seger is exhibiting the integrity, sincerity, and authenticity that made him a household name.
Now, it’s time to rock out with the heart and soul of Detroit, one last time. Seger is now embarking on what may possibly be his last tour in support of his first album in eight years, Ride Out.
You can catch Seger as he dazzles celebrated venues such as Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.

While Bob Seger had always been a respectable and talented performer, it was not until he formed the Silver Bullet Band in 1973 that he would enter an era characterized by the peak of his success.
Now combined with the force and prolific sound of the Silver Bullet Band, the music scene was ripe for Seger’s taking. In 1976, Seger achieved mainstream success with the album Night Moves. The title track of the album was an immense critical and commercial success, and the hit “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” became an anthem that would define Seger’s career for many years to come.
Following Night Moves, Seger went on to release groundbreaking and chart-topping albums such as 1978’s Stranger in Town, 1980’s Against the Wind, and 1982’s The Distance. For years, the unstoppable Seger dominated the music scene with acclaimed hits such as “Shakedown”, “Shame on the Moon”, “We’ve Got Tonight” and “Like a Rock”. His recording of “Old Time Rock and Roll” was even named one of the Songs of the Century in 2001.While Seger would begin recording infrequently following 1995’s It’s A Mystery, his status as an icon was already set in stone. Seger was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
In October 2014, Seger returned to the music scene with the highly-anticipated Ride Out, his first release of new material in eight years. The album is comprised of four cover songs and six Seger originals. The covers are John Hiatt’s “Detroit Made”, Steve Earle’s “The Devil’s Right Hand”, Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson’s “Adam and Eve”, and the Wilco/Woody Guthrie/Billy Bragg collaboration “California Stars”. The six original compositions will include “Hey Gypsy”, “You Take Me In”, and “Gates of Eden”.
In 2013, Seger stated that Ride Out may be his final album, and that the album’s supporting tour may be his last. Come celebrate Seger’s illustrious career by seeing the legend live in concert at venues such as Vancouver’s Rogers Centre!
