Finally, the naysayers have their way, the games are over and the dreams have succumb to the negative. Or is it over?  The Habs have covered a lot of ground to accomplish a tour of the Conference final in which both the Philadelphia Flyers and the Montreal Canadiens were not suppose to be there. Or even make the playoffs.  Our under achieving Habs went to the third round on fairy dust and luck and sweat and hard work, falling short of perfection. Who can say that they are not better than 28 other teams. The magic word is parity, 5 teams battled  the last 2 spots in the eastern conference and we made it!  Beating 1st and 2nd place teams to advance to the Conference finals in itself was a championship but that wasn’t enough for the naysayers. Playing above your abilities is what you do in sports. Congratulation Montreal Canadiens (GO Habs GO).
